Lindsay is a mission-driven program strategist and operations professional with expertise in designing experiential learning programs, leading operations and people functions and building relationships with diverse stakeholders. She has a passion for improving employee and client experiences and delivering organizational impact by creating, driving and scaling programs, as well as operational processes and events.
As the Chief of Staff to the Managing Directors, Lindsay is responsible for supporting and delivering the Managing Directors’ priorities both internally within the firm and externally with key clients and stakeholders. As a trusted advisor who works collaboratively with all levels of the firm, Lindsay drives action and impact across a wide range of initiatives related to new business development, firm governance and operations and team engagement.
Prior to Gagen MacDonald, Lindsay worked in the social impact and international development sectors. She gained over a decade of experience working at a global advocacy organization focused on eliminating extreme poverty in sub-Saharan Africa. As a Program Director, she developed the program strategy and end-to-end trip execution for experiential learning trips to Africa, hosting high-profile delegates including donors, politicians and celebrities to cultivate champions for development initiatives in the region. In this role, Lindsay cultivated long-term, strategic relationships with NGOs, government representatives, civil society organizations and tour operators in 15 different African countries to deliver interactive travel experiences highlighting development efforts through storytelling and personal interactions. Lindsay also worked as the Operations and Talent Manager at a global strategy consulting firm where she played an integral part in the development of five regional offices by serving as a primary resource for staff on employee engagement initiatives, project staffing management, recruitment and training curriculums.
