Nicole Cohen has a passion for employee experience, content creation, partnership development and channel strategy as well as finding inclusive and meaningful ways to engage teams. Nicole has nearly 20 years of experience working in corporate (external and internal) and brand communications and is a healthcare subject matter expert.
Much of her career was spent as a consultant helping healthcare brands, including Fortune 100 and 500 companies, lead and grow their businesses. In addition to award-winning public relations and executive thought leadership and visibility efforts, Nicole has spearheaded employee-focused communications initiatives for the National Cancer Institute, the Peace Corps, Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson and others.
Before joining APCO and Gagen MacDonald, Nicole served as a Vice President within the health practices of both Edelman and Ogilvy. She graduated from the Bloomberg School of Public Health with a public health degree (MSPH) focused on behavior change communications and population health informatics, and received an undergraduate degree in political science from Wesleyan University.
Nicole’s work has been recognized with industry awards, including the PRSA Skyline Award for Integrated Communications: Consumer Products and the Gold SABRE Awards North America for Marketing to Women.
Nicole lives in Brooklyn, New York with her family and enjoys producing artwork on fabric and paper.
