Dr. James Madara is CEO and executive vice president of the American Medical Association, the nation’s largest physician organization. Since taking the reins of the AMA in 2011, Dr. Madara has shaped the organization’s vision and long-term strategic plan. He also serves as Chairman of Health2047, an independent, design driven innovation firm whose mission is to help advance the AMA’s goal of improving the health of the nation.
