The Pacific Plains Region of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) has honored Lundbeck U.S. – a global pharmaceutical company based in Denmark – with an Award of Merit as part of 2016’s Silver Quill Awards.The annual award provides an opportunity for communicators to share their best work with the region. According to IABC, a Silver Quill Award recognizes work that has “exceeded expectations, demonstrated outstanding creativity, and furthered organizational goals: boosting revenue, rallying employees, knocking socks off, and otherwise contributing to a wildly successful outcome.”Gagen MacDonald worked with Lundbeck on an initiative called the “LundBox,” in which teams of between 6 and 25 employees across the globe engaged in fun, instructive activities that deepened their understanding of Lundbeck’s unique culture and its core principles of focus, passion and responsibility. Internal response was extremely favorable, with one employee noting that the LundBox “pulled us together as a team.
